The much-celebrated royal couple of the mandolin world explores the evolution of the mandolin from its Italian baroque roots to its diverse expressions in the dance and popular musics of many nations today including Brazilian Choro and Marshall's own original music. Also featured on the program are the complete Bach Inventions on mandolin and mandocello as well as solo violin music by Bach and sonatas by Leclair. Special Event: Youth Competition awards.
